About the role
- Support the sales team by providing guidance and assistance with pricing, contracts, and deal structuring
- Work closely with sales teams to support the development and execution of sales deals
- Analyze sales data to ensure the pricing and profitability of deals
- Act as a sales-facing subject matter expert on internal process and pricing related matters
- Create, update, and manage pricing models and recording of all deals and contracts
- Guide team to best pricing and deal structure to maximize revenue and delivery of an offering
- Identify and report on trends and issues in deal pricing and structure
- Support the development of sales strategies and tactics
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Attend forecast meetings and provide relevant updates
- Collaborate closely with sales, finance, and other departments to structure beneficial deals while meeting customer needs
- Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a deal desk or sales operations role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Salesforce or other CRM systems
- Experience with pricing strategies and models
- Knowledge of contract review and negotiation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in SQL Workbench and VScode is a plus. Ability to navigate databases and perform ETL on large raw datasets. is a plus
