About the role

  • Conduct comprehensive data collection, organization, analysis, and support visualization to provide actionable insights
  • Manage ETL processes and develop/maintain data warehouse structures including OLAP and materialized views
  • Develop complex dashboards and reports and perform detailed statistical analyses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver insights
  • Create sophisticated data presentations following Data Analytics UI/UX standards
  • Design and implement data processes and automation for efficiency
  • Support BI Developers with SQL, views, stored procedures, and database analysis
  • Contribute to data analytics best practices and ensure data integrity and security
  • Initiate and manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Continuously enhance technical skills and stay current with industry trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience level
  • 4-6 years of progressive professional experience in data work
  • Proven track record in conducting complex statistical analyses, executing projects, and generating actionable insights from large data sets
  • Advanced time management and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fundamental orientation to collaborative work styles
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work and function in a fast-paced environment, on deadline
  • Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
  • Proficient using Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, etc.)
  • Extensive experience in database management, database development, data querying with SQL
  • Proficiency in at least one coding language for the use of data analytics (e.g. Python, R, etc.)
  • Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau
  • Experience with ETL best practices and tools
  • Advanced Proficiency in managing and developing data warehouse structures like materialized views and calculated fields
  • Proficiency in developing and working with OLAP/data summary structures in a data warehouse setting
  • Dedication to continuous improvement, self and group learning
  • Experience working in an office setting
  • Must be able to sit for at least one hour at a time and keyboard for extended periods
  • Travel may be required up to 10% of working hours
