About the role

  • Scale paid media programs with emphasis on direct media buying, sponsorship management, and programmatic advertising.
  • Manage sponsorship agreements with key industry partners to maximize brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize programmatic advertising campaigns across display, video, and native formats.
  • Support paid search, paid social, affiliate, and other performance marketing programs to drive MQL/SQL generation and brand-building efforts.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling ad creative and landing pages optimized for conversions.
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze campaign data, and provide actionable insights to improve ROI and CPA.
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring spend is optimized and forecasted accurately.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, new platforms, and competitive activity to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Partner with analytics teams to develop reporting dashboards and track performance against KPIs.
  • Work closely with content, product marketing, analytics, and sales to ensure campaigns reach the right audience with the right message.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, with at least 2+ years in direct media buying and programmatic advertising.
  • Proven track record in managing B2B tech or SaaS paid media campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of the full-funnel buyer journey and how to tailor media strategies for awareness, consideration, and conversion.
  • Hands-on experience with direct buys with industry media partners.
  • Hands-on experience with programmatic platforms (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk).
  • Paid search (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads) a strong plus.
  • Paid social (LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, Reddit Ads) a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with data and multi-touch attribution insights.
  • Excellent negotiation, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation.
  • Preferred: Experience in the legal tech or professional services vertical.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with additional marketing tools (e.g., Qualified, Userled, Clay).
  • Preferred: Knowledge of SEO/AEO best practices to complement paid media efforts.
  • Preferred: Based in Austin, Texas.
