Take full ownership of Launch Potato's YouTube business, including campaign performance, pacing, reporting, operations, setup, and P&L for Insurance YouTube campaigns
Own campaign execution, testing new creatives, developing playbooks, and maintaining profitability while scaling spend
Deliver consistent growth in spend and profitability, targeting a 2x annualized run rate in year one with a minimum of 110% ROAS
Provide actionable insights and recommendations backed by rigorous data insights, reporting, and analysis
Drive measurable improvements in CTR, CVR, ROAS, and margin through ongoing creative testing and iteration
Collaborate with the creative team on video production and with internal stakeholders and external vendors to build net new audiences
Expand YouTube campaigns into new insurance and financial services verticals and into other video platforms (streaming, TV, Meta, TikTok)
Share best practices across the Paid Media team and build and lead a video-first performance marketing and paid media team as investment scales
Requirements
Proven success profitably scaling new and existing brands on YouTube
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in BI tools (Looker, Google Analytics, etc.) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, regression analysis, correlation)
Strong understanding of best practices that drive high-performing creatives, including YouTube ABCDs, briefs, and collaborating on video production with creative teams
Demonstrated experience owning P&L and hitting aggressive growth + profitability goals, and building best practice playbooks
Exceptional collaboration and proactive communication skills; comfortable presenting insights both written and verbal, and influencing decision-making across teams
6+ years managing and scaling a YouTube performance-based portfolio, with budgets of $20M+/year
Experience with Looker and analytics platforms
Familiarity with AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, MidJourney) and MMM/measurement tools (nice-to-have)
Familiarity with competitor analysis tools like SimilarWeb, AdBeat, Ahrefs, SpyFu (nice-to-have)
Experience mentoring peers or leading knowledge-sharing initiatives (nice-to-have)
