Achieve optimum sales results on assigned distribution accounts and provide regional/local support for corporate distribution initiatives.
Contribute to the development of strategy and execute field/local strategic plans for all assigned distributors.
Utilize syndicated data to provide business insights and actionable plans for distributor customers.
Manage financial levers such as pricing.
Deliver ambitious, articulate, consultative, and fact-based selling proposals and presentations while leveraging key insights.
Assist in development of business plans to drive profitable value and added growth while building strong relationships with customers/partners.
Develop joint scorecards with key business partners to measure plan success.
Plan short- and long-term customer assessments of account activities and opportunities.
Manage records and documentation of customer and sales activity in the Sales System assigned by the Business Unit.
Interact with cross-functional teams within Lamb Weston and at assigned distribution accounts.
May oversee the work of sales representatives by initiating objectives, setting priorities and evaluating work.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in similar field preferred.
3+ years of sales experience, foodservice sales preferred.
Ability to use a variety of technologies and tools including, Microsoft Suite, virtual meeting rooms/web conferencing, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, DOMO, PROs).
Demonstrated ability to utilize digital/remote selling capabilities.
Strong written and verbal skills and ability to negotiate.
Ability to read, write and speak in English required. Bilingual skills desirable.
Strong business management skills, including financial management skills and a strategic mindset.
The ability to travel independently, valid U.S. drivers’ license, and ability to meet Company driving standards. May have to travel up to 50% of the time.
