About the role

  • Achieve optimum sales results on assigned distribution accounts and provide regional/local support for corporate distribution initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of strategy and execute field/local strategic plans for all assigned distributors.
  • Utilize syndicated data to provide business insights and actionable plans for distributor customers.
  • Manage financial levers such as pricing.
  • Deliver ambitious, articulate, consultative, and fact-based selling proposals and presentations while leveraging key insights.
  • Assist in development of business plans to drive profitable value and added growth while building strong relationships with customers/partners.
  • Develop joint scorecards with key business partners to measure plan success.
  • Plan short- and long-term customer assessments of account activities and opportunities.
  • Manage records and documentation of customer and sales activity in the Sales System assigned by the Business Unit.
  • Interact with cross-functional teams within Lamb Weston and at assigned distribution accounts.
  • May oversee the work of sales representatives by initiating objectives, setting priorities and evaluating work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in similar field preferred.
  • 3+ years of sales experience, foodservice sales preferred.
  • Ability to use a variety of technologies and tools including, Microsoft Suite, virtual meeting rooms/web conferencing, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, DOMO, PROs).
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize digital/remote selling capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal skills and ability to negotiate.
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English required. Bilingual skills desirable.
  • Strong business management skills, including financial management skills and a strategic mindset.
  • The ability to travel independently, valid U.S. drivers’ license, and ability to meet Company driving standards. May have to travel up to 50% of the time.
