About the role
- Oversee implementation and operational support of SAP Finance and Project Systems functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and managed service support personnel to design, configure, and test SAP FI/PS solutions
- Design and deliver innovative solutions aligned with L3Harris business objectives
- Ensure system stability and performance for production systems
- Facilitate collection and documentation of business requirements for SAP FI and PS modules
- Support implementation of finance and project systems for large SAP projects, including upgrades, enhancements, and new module rollouts
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications and process flows
- Assist with prioritization of issue resolution and enhancements for SAP FI/PS modules and provide guidance troubleshooting complex issues
- Build strong internal and external customer relationships and align system solutions to changing business requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and stay current with SAP technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in ERP system utilization and operational leadership
- Proven track record of successful system implementations and support
- Experience with SAP Finance (FI) and Project Systems (PS) modules
- Strong understanding of financial processes and project management principles
- Knowledge of SAP integration points with other modules (e.g., MM, SD)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Experience developing technical solutions to complex problems and driving implementation
- Experience working within financial applications, emphasis on accounting or shared services
- Exposure to project management methodologies, including waterfall and Agile
- 100% On-site (must be able to work on-site)
