About the role

  • Lead deployment of the three‑bedrock Sapphire system of systems (ERP, MOM, PLM) to programs and sites across Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS)
  • Establish detailed deployment plans ensuring alignment with program objectives and timelines
  • Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure appropriate infrastructure for each deployment
  • Organize and oversee dress rehearsals and other preparatory activities to validate readiness
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with program teams and stakeholders throughout deployments
  • Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate post-deployment reviews to assess effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement
  • Support Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) and coordinate across more than 100 product teams as needed
  • Travel up to 30% to support deployments and site activities

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in program or project management
  • 10+ years of experience leading a cross-functional team
  • 5+ years of experience within information technology
  • 5+ years of experience deploying complex IT or software systems such as Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
  • Capable of traveling up to 30% of the time
  • Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance post-start) — U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must meet export control compliance: be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Preferred: Active Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Preferred: Relevant certifications in project or program management
  • Preferred: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
