About the role

  • Lead deployment of the three-bedrock Sapphire system of systems (ERP, MOM, PLM) to programs and sites across Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS)
  • Establish detailed deployment plans for the Sapphire system of systems across BDS, ensuring alignment with program objectives and timelines
  • Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure appropriate infrastructure is in place for each deployment
  • Organize and oversee dress rehearsals and other preparatory activities to ensure stakeholder readiness
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with program teams and stakeholders throughout the deployment process
  • Identify potential deployment risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate post-deployment reviews to assess effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth, tailored implementations for each deployment

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in program or project management
  • 10+ years of experience leading a cross-functional team
  • 5+ years of experience within information technology
  • 5+ years of experience deploying complex IT or software systems such as Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
  • Capable of traveling up to 30% of the time
  • Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (preferred)
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance (preferred)
  • Relevant certifications in project or program management (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills (preferred)
  • To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required) and an interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
