About the role

  • Conduct weekly outbound sales calls and proactive agency communications to increase production in quotes and written premium.
  • Engage a large number of agencies in an assigned State or territory to meet and exceed annual goals.
  • Work alongside field sales executives to identify sales opportunities, grow revenue profitably, and meet sales quotas.
  • Act as a brand ambassador to agents and brokers.
  • Develop strong agency relationships; guide, direct and manage agents to achieve sales quotas and business objectives.
  • Execute outbound sales call goals.
  • Serve as company representative and liaison between agency and company personnel to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with field Sales and Product teams to achieve team goals and agent growth.
  • Drive new agency appointments through the onboarding process and participate in training sessions.
  • Participate in regular strategy and tactical meetings with field Sales Executive partners and Inside Sales leadership.
  • Occasional field travel and agency visits; participate in conventions, seminars, trade shows, and agency functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

  • Insurance experience highly preferred but not necessary.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Bilingual a plus (Spanish)
  • Ability to interpret statistical data from company reports and build action plans around the insights obtained from the data.
  • Required to possess effective communication skills and be an acceptable public speaker.
  • Must be flexible in nature and a highly motivated self-starter.
  • Basic ability of operating computer (PC) is necessary including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Should demonstrate time management skills.
