About the role
- Conduct weekly outbound sales calls and proactive agency communications to increase production in quotes and written premium.
- Engage a large number of agencies in an assigned State or territory to meet and exceed annual goals.
- Work alongside field sales executives to identify sales opportunities, grow revenue profitably, and meet sales quotas.
- Act as a brand ambassador to agents and brokers.
- Develop strong agency relationships; guide, direct and manage agents to achieve sales quotas and business objectives.
- Execute outbound sales call goals.
- Serve as company representative and liaison between agency and company personnel to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with field Sales and Product teams to achieve team goals and agent growth.
- Drive new agency appointments through the onboarding process and participate in training sessions.
- Participate in regular strategy and tactical meetings with field Sales Executive partners and Inside Sales leadership.
- Occasional field travel and agency visits; participate in conventions, seminars, trade shows, and agency functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Requirements
- Insurance experience highly preferred but not necessary.
- College degree preferred.
- Bilingual a plus (Spanish)
- Ability to interpret statistical data from company reports and build action plans around the insights obtained from the data.
- Required to possess effective communication skills and be an acceptable public speaker.
- Must be flexible in nature and a highly motivated self-starter.
- Basic ability of operating computer (PC) is necessary including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Should demonstrate time management skills.
