Design, plan, coordinate, and execute testing on the Family of Beyond Line-of-Sight Terminals (FAB-T), Global Aircrew Strategic Network Terminal (Global-ASNT), Time Distribution Subsystem PreProcessor (TDSPP), Milstar Messaging System (MMS), Global Broadcast Service (GBS), and various other MILSATCOM systems, subsystems and devices
Provide engineering and technician-level support, including integration, communication circuit troubleshooting, system-level anomaly resolution, and the identification and isolation of software or hardware defects to evaluate/assess system modifications for shortfalls or interoperability issues and provide technical assessments to the client with regards to the modifications
Author and deliver technical documentation including test plans, test procedures, system configuration diagrams, engineering studies, technical white papers, and test reports
Provide test and evaluation and terminal operations on a diverse set of strategic and tactical MILSATCOM space systems and infrastructure to support the MILSATCOM Program Management Office within USSF Space Systems Command
Support operations and sustainment activities for Military and Commercial Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) systems
Collaborate with a multi-contractor environment and support Joint and Allied operational warfighting community employing MILSATCOM and NC3 systems, terminals and software applications worldwide
Requirements
Active Secret clearance required for this position
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or similar technical discipline from an accredited university
Must be a motivated, self-starter capable of autonomous on-the-job learning/improvement
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills
5+ years of small team leadership experience
5+ years experience with DoD/USAF test processes and documentation
5+ years experience working with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships
5+ years experience working in a highly competitive multi-contractor environment
Travel Requirements: Approximately 20%
