About the role
- Interpret and analyze engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and customer operations and support concepts to develop support solutions and products
- Develop support analysis, provisioning solutions, spares solutions and maintenance, inspection, and support technical data
- Provide recommendations on product supportability and establish operation maintenance tasks and support resources
- Develop support systems to achieve supportability requirements
- Identify and analyze logistics support candidates and develop logistics support analysis records and reports
- Determine spares provisioning requirements and recommend spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking
- Write and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting and maintaining aircraft systems and/or components
- Responsible for system and model upkeep, development of new features, and program or operational analysis
- Perform logistics product support to ensure sustainment capability and influence product designs
- Evaluate, validate, and implement engineering changes and provide logistics support input for proposal development
- Develop IETMs and maintain logistics systems; may support additional programs
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years in interpreting blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals and the use of military specifications
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction
- Ability to work in an office environment and learn multiple computer applications and processes
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate clearly with internal and external customers
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start required)
- U.S. Citizenship required (visa sponsorship not provided)
- Post-offer drug testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria met
- Preferred: IETM and/or Technical manual usage experience
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and/or typically 4 or more years related work experience or a combination of education and experience
- Desired: CH-47 or other military rotorcraft maintenance experience
