Responsible for logistics planning operations related to the Digital Appliance (DA) business
Establish and support execution of all logistics planning activities from product group and service level perspective
Manage logistics planning, supply commitments, customer service levels (on time delivery) and related analytics to drive cost and service levels
Act as primary point of contact for all supply/logistics issues for assigned products/accounts at the Sales Subsidiary and interact closely with internal departments
Minimize sales opportunity loss and cost by operating strategic supply forecasts considering lead time and market demand analysis
Improve demand operation level of sales subsidiaries by complying with supply management rules/processes and maintaining optimal inventory for distribution
Build mid- and long-term resource management strategy through advance discussions regarding mid- and long-term demands
Perform market demand analysis for each segment and model group considering economic trends, marketing plans, and competitive product launches
Select key materials and operate systems to stabilize supply for mass production of new models
Discuss demand quantity with related sales subsidiaries and plan strategic guides for business unit decisions
Prepare strategy operating 4 cycles (introduction, growth, maturity, decline) from new model launch to EOP (End of Production)
Establish sale & supply plans for surplus and shortage of inventory to maintain optimal distribution levels
Participate in mid- and long-term resource management planning for delivery materials and facilities (4–6 months in advance)
Learn to use professional concepts and apply company policies to resolve routine issues; work on problems of limited scope with detailed instructions
Requirements
Undergraduate Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Finance, or similar
At least 2-3 years’ work experience in relevant field
Prior Global and Local Logistics Experience preferred
Excellent Analytical and Computer Skills
Extremely High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook
Excellent Communications skills (written, verbal)
Must be comfortable presenting to and promoting consensus-building
Must be comfortable presenting to and building consensus with Customers
Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural business environment
Must be available to work over-time and on weekends as required
