About the role
- Support development of strategies for increasing working group participation, collaboration, and impact across data commons communities
- Collaborate across GivingTuesday teams and with partners to plan virtual and in-person convenings that advance research priorities
- Facilitate and manage online community engagement, including moderation, onboarding, resource sharing, listserv oversight, newsletters, and virtual meetings
- Support implementation of research projects by organizing stakeholders, collecting requirements, distilling research questions, and building collaborative frameworks and timelines
- Identify and cultivate new potential partners across technology platforms, financial services, nonprofits, academic institutions, and advocacy organizations
- Manage relationships with current partners to ensure progress on collaborative projects and maintain engagement across multiple initiatives
- Establish and support new community-defined working groups aligned with sector needs and research priorities
- Seek opportunities to scale successful projects and identify pathways for broader sector adoption of insights and tools
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in partnership development, community management, stakeholder engagement, or R&D
- Outstanding oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent presentation and facilitation abilities
- Comfortability with interpreting data, technical discussions related to data and research, and integrating insights from various sources and partner organizations
- Proven track record in relationship management, ideally with experience managing complex multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Ability to facilitate productive conversations and build consensus among diverse groups with varying priorities and perspectives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to overlap with a 9:00 to 5:00 EST workday for at least 4 hours per day
