About the role
- Support the end-to-end employee experience from onboarding new hires to managing employee transitions
- Plan, organize, and execute company-wide and team events (offsites, in-person and virtual) and culture-building initiatives
- Draft and distribute internal communications such as company-wide newsletters and periodic company updates
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within HR systems and records
- Handle administrative tasks such as I-9 verification, benefit administration, and employment verification letters
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline People Operations workflows and leverage AI and other tools to automate backend processes
- Empower teams by supporting the end-to-end employee lifecycle and ensuring seamless onboarding
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in HR, People Operations or related (EXCLUDING internships); ideally within a fast-paced startup environment
- Excellent written and live communication skills
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Well-organized and able to support multiple projects and teams
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Resourceful and creative; takes initiative
- Mature and professional; handle sensitive information with discretion
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada (application asks this)
- Willingness to relocate to or live in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NY, NV, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or Ontario (application question)
