Agronomy Operations Intern

• Provides supervision, coordination, and disposition of the assets assigned to Simplot Transportation for a designated terminal
• Identifies and develops profitable market development opportunities
• Manages business relationships with contract carriers and other vendors to maximize company profitability
• Supervises maintenance and repair of assets to ensure maintenance goals are achieved systematically
• Monitors performance against schedule and modifies schedule to meet changing plant requirements during the shift
• Schedules all assets at the assigned terminal, including commodity ranges from bulk to temp-sensitive products
• Maintains contact with retailers on product delivery and merchandising on product receiving

• Coordinate the deployment of inventory into/from local public warehouse and associated Simplot facilities and provide the necessary product loading and handling.
• Ensure safe and compliant warehouse operation aligned with federal, state, local, and industry regulations.

• Enhance employee performance by managing and implementing standardized on-the-job training programs
