About the role
- Provides supervision, coordination, and disposition of the assets assigned to Simplot Transportation for a designated terminal
- Identifies and develops profitable market development opportunities
- Manages business relationships with contract carriers and other vendors to maximize company profitability
- Supervises maintenance and repair of assets to ensure maintenance goals are achieved systematically
- Monitors performance against schedule and modifies schedule to meet changing plant requirements during the shift
- Schedules all assets at the assigned terminal, including commodity ranges from bulk to temp-sensitive products
- Maintains contact with retailers on product delivery and merchandising on product receiving
- Responsible for supervising hourly employees at an assigned terminal
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
- 5+ years related experience and/or training
