About the role
- Perform eligibility and benefits verification for treatments, hospitalizations, and procedures
- Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtain missing information
- Follow up on unpaid claims within the standard billing cycle timeframe
- Call insurance companies regarding discrepancies in payments if necessary
- Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances
- Provide customer support through phone, email, and chat
- Resolve issues and accommodate customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with colleagues and different departments to resolve complex issues
- Maintain accurate records on customer interactions, transactions, and feedback
Requirements
- At least 6 months - 1 year BPO experience in a Healthcare account
- Knowledgeable with medical claims, benefits, eligibilities, appeals
- Good working knowledge with Medicare/Medicaid
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Amenable working night shift
- Willing to work onsite in Shaw Blvd, Mandaluyong
