About the role

  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor focused on growing the business through impactful solutions rooted in quantitative and qualitative market research techniques
  • Lead and consult with account teams on strategic approaches to research design, insights development, data visualization, and storytelling
  • Lead team from research design through results delivery to evaluate and elevate advertising at speed and scale for clients across tech, healthcare, retail, entertainment, CPG, and more
  • Act as a service line mentor and champion to foster team collaboration, development, and expertise through purpose-driven leadership
  • Identify operational efficiencies and empower the team to implement them consistently
  • Provide coaching and guidance to more junior team members; may manage one or more account managers
  • Manage and guide the team through complex situations
  • Contribute to team growth through new business development and expanded partnerships
  • Participate in initiatives that support the service line (growth, new product, employee training & engagement)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in market research, advertising, marketing, or consumer insights
  • Advertising experience preferred
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience leading a high performing team
  • Client-driven and solutions-oriented mindset with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong experience with quantitative research (survey design, sampling plans, analysis, delivery)
  • Some experience with qualitative research (focus groups, in-depth interviews, qualitative analysis)
  • Strong communications skills; ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Understanding of advanced analytics
  • Keen eye for design/visual storytelling
  • Ability to lead workshops and present to senior executives
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
  • Track record of leading proposals and new business development
  • Proficiency with MS Office & Google Workplace (Excel, PowerPoint, Sheets, Slides)
