About the role

  • Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of Andrew Harper’s robust email program
  • Oversee more than 300 annual campaigns, including remarketing flows and partner marketing campaigns generating over $200k in annual revenue
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for email marketing across the organization, ensuring campaigns support broader goals of member engagement, growth, retention, and partner value
  • Develop and own the email marketing strategy, aligning campaigns with Andrew Harper’s key business objectives and KPIs
  • Plan, build, and optimize end-to-end email campaigns including concepting, scheduling, testing, delivery, and performance analysis
  • Write and edit high-quality copy that reflects Andrew Harper’s brand voice and editorial standards
  • Apply best practices in email design and layout, leveraging typography and imagery to create elegant and engaging communications
  • Segment audiences based on engagement and behaviors to deliver personalized, targeted messaging
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation across subject lines and content to maximize conversions
  • Establish dashboards and reporting frameworks to track performance, identify insights, and present recommendations to leadership
  • Partner with design, editorial, membership, and partnerships teams to ensure integrated campaigns and cohesive member experiences
  • Stay current with industry trends, compliance regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR), and emerging email technologies
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior colleagues or contractors involved in campaign execution, as applicable

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in email marketing, including ownership of strategy and execution
  • Demonstrated success managing high-volume programs with measurable business impact
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred) and CRM systems
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for promotional, editorial, and partner-driven communications
  • Working knowledge of HTML and understanding of responsive design principles
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strategic thinker with a creative eye for layout and design
  • Passion for luxury travel and familiarity with the preferences and behaviors of affluent, well-traveled audiences
  • Experience in luxury travel or lifestyle industry is strongly preferred
