About the role
- Grow and nurture a network of host companies across Ireland and the UK
- Build meaningful relationships and expand employer partnerships to create internship opportunities
- Oversee the full B2B lifecycle from outreach to ongoing account support
- Work closely with participants to guide internship matching and manage placement pipeline
- Develop and execute localized outreach emphasizing in-person trust-based engagement
- Achieve monthly business development goals via LinkedIn, email, phone, events, and networking
- Build partnership ecosystems with companies, associations, chambers of commerce, and expat communities
- Provide key account management including site visits and feedback sessions to retain and grow partnerships
- Conduct research, discovery calls, tailored presentations, qualify leads, and onboard new partners
- Track placement rates, satisfaction, and outcomes to identify improvements and drive retention
Requirements
- Must have work authorization to work in Ireland and not require sponsorship
- Proven experience in B2B business development, sales, or account management
- Confident communicator with strong face-to-face networking and relationship-building skills
- Results orientated, target driven with strong attention to detail
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong commercial awareness and organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit: highly motivated, proactive, able to thrive in a remote-first environment
- Logistical requirements: home office space and a personal computer to work from
