Act as Chief of Staff to the President (Anna), serving as thought partner and executor to double her impact
Ensure executive and leadership teams work effectively and in alignment with company values
Anticipate needs, take tasks off the President’s plate, and provide candid feedback
Drive complex, cross-functional, and ambiguous projects to results with clarity and speed
Strengthen and make teammates more effective through mentorship and collaboration
Help sustain and shape company culture as Industrious transitions within CBRE platform
Implement practical AI tools and workflows to support the executive team
Support qualitative and quantitative analysis, including financial implications of decisions
Plan and coordinate gatherings, offsites, and team events
Collaborate across departments to deliver measurable business outcomes
Requirements
8–12+ years of senior-level operating experience in high-growth or scaled environments (e.g., strategy & operations, GM roles, chief of staff, or consulting plus in-house leadership)
Proven cross-functional execution, led complex initiatives and projects across multiple departments and delivered measurable results
Financial fluency, comfortable reading a P&L and anticipating business implications of strategic decisions
Superpower in building trust with other people; influence without authority
Clear, top-down communicator verbally and in writing; able to craft storylines for different audiences
Low ego and receptive to giving/receiving feedback; proactive about growth and development
Creative and able to plan gatherings and events
Good judgment on 49/51 questions; experience with tricky people problems and prioritization
Comfortable with macro (strategy) and micro (operational details)
Early adopter of AI tools; knowledgeable about practical AI tools and workflows
Energized by real-time debate; ability to move conversations to action
Sharp business thinker; able to assess financial implications and spot patterns in P&L
Comfortable being in a supporting role and behind-the-scenes when needed
Must be able to be in-person with Anna in NYC at least a few days/week
