Manage and evolve the company’s primarily U.S.-based compensation and benefits programs, with responsibility extending to Canadian and European markets.
Conduct research and data analysis to ensure competitive and equitable total rewards offerings.
Serve as the primary liaison with benefits vendors (e.g., insurance carriers, brokers, cafeteria plan administrators) to oversee billing accuracy, claims resolution, renewal negotiations, and escalated issues.
Recommend enhancements to compensation and benefits policies, procedures, and employee-facing documentation.
Advise senior leadership on best practices for total rewards strategy, employee engagement, and talent retention.
Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with applicable U.S. regulations (e.g., ACA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA).
Oversee administration of employee benefit plans, including medical, retirement, leave programs, and time-off policies.
Track industry trends and provide insights to leadership on evolving best practices and potential program changes.
Contribute to project-based modeling and analysis related to cost structures, IPO readiness, M&A activity, and external reporting.
Collect and submit data for benchmarking, market analysis, and compensation surveys.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in benefits and/or compensation roles.
Proficient in Excel and data analysis; must be comfortable with forecasting, modeling, and interpreting compensation and benefits data.
