Underwrite credit exposure for large, complex customer relationships and circumstances
Day-to-day interaction with assigned Sales Reps; manage portfolio risk and adhere to regulatory and compliance guidelines
Early identification of emerging credit problems and industry trends
Service, deepen, and retain assigned profitable customer relationships by evaluating and mitigating associated business risks and opportunities
Own primary responsibility for the credit and monitoring of Commercial portfolio risks; responsible for underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and credit quality
Underwrite complex and large credit requests for prospects and clients
Analyze company performance and the impact of industry, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic events on creditworthiness
Provide independent, in-depth analysis of financial statements, projections, and business plans; identify and mitigate key risks
Manage assigned portfolio by monitoring performance and trends, identifying issues, and following through for remediation
Responsible for financial statement spreading, risk rating integrity, compliance, and regulatory review
Maintain extensive knowledge of corporate, investment, and commercial banking solutions, market trends, and business drivers
Understand and articulate industry trends and proactively share information across the organization
Mentor Credit Analysts and junior-level Portfolio Managers
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
