About the role
- Review contract language in lease agreements
- Provide detailed commentary to landlords regarding lease agreements with tenants, making recommendations on insurance requirements, limits, indemnity agreements
- Provide proactive updates to the producer, service team, and insured parties
- Serve as a claims advocate to ensure the policy responds according to how it is written
- Support clients in navigating their policy language, liaising with adjusters to keep claims moving toward a favorable outcome for clients
- Utilize expertise in commercial property claims to ensure compliance and proper response to policy terms
- Provide innovative, proactive claims support and services for large clients
- Review COIs issued by tenants and ensure compliance with lease terms
- Stay connected with HUB’s developing tools and resources, integrating these tools into various client portfolios
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- College degree preferred
- 5 - 7 years of applicable insurance/agency, claims or contract review experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented self-starter
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills
- Significant skill in handling competing demands and projects
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and delegate responsibility
- Mastery of virtual technology, including meeting scheduling, video display and screen sharing
- Relevant Insurance licenses per state/regional statutes
- Required Education: High school or equivalent
