About the role
- Partner closely with leaders to link organizational and workforce strategies to improve organization effectiveness, talent quality, performance and culture.
- Establish and implement overall workforce strategy, organizational design, change management, and workforce planning to drive business transformation.
- Coach and collaborate with executive leaders to drive business outcomes and organization effectiveness; serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
- Deliver insights and solutions to the leadership team to address business challenges and leader development.
- Develop effective business strategies focused on people and talent and recommend People strategies to drive organizational performance and employee engagement.
- Lead talent management strategy and process to develop diverse, world-class talent and champion career development and internal mobility.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence to deliver appropriate HR programs and manage employee experience.
- Support the HP Way, advocate for inclusive environments, and operate in a matrixed environment to drive execution and results.
Requirements
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in HR functions, organizational change initiatives, workforce plans, or a related field.
- Experience in executing, partnering, and collaborating to drive results.
- Superior ability to provide HR consultation to senior managers and employees on HR issues regarding employee relations, staffing, compensation, HR policies and performance management.
- Familiar with standard People plan components including organizational design, workforce planning, total rewards, learning and development, talent planning and management, labor, diversity, and HR operations.
- Strong business acumen, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong project and process management skills.
- Excellent planning, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills and ability to handle competing priorities calmly under pressure.
- Solid written and verbal communication, interpersonal, relationship building and management, leadership and influencing skills.
