About the role
- Install Point-of-Sale and other hardware in restaurant or retail environments
- Perform Wellness Visits and maintenance checks
- Troubleshoot technical and hardware issues
- Travel weekly (sometimes daily) within local market using company vehicle to cover restaurants
- Use basic hand tools, drills, and small electric/cordless tools during installations and repairs
- Configure network systems and CAT-5 cabling as needed (when applicable)
- Work on ladders up to 12 feet and lift heavy objects as required
- Coordinate with restaurant staff and company team for large-scale deployments
Requirements
- This position requires weekly travel with company vehicle within the local market.
- Some weeks it requires daily driving to cover all restaurants in a certain market
- Basic Windows OS and Microsoft Office knowledge
- Technical troubleshooting abilities
- Valid REAL ID-compliant Driver's License
- Ability to pass Criminal Background Checks
- Ability to pass pre-hire drug testing and on-going random drug testing
- Must have experience working with basic hand tools and drills
- Restaurant or related customer service field experience (bonus)
- Point of Sale System Exposure/Experience (bonus)
- CAT-5 cabling experience (bonus)
- Knowledge of configuring a network system (bonus)
- Ability to walk distances up to a half mile
- Ability to work while standing on concrete surface continuously 8-10 hours – Frequently
- Ability to work while bending, squatting and kneeling - Frequently
- Ability to work while extending your arms/hands overhead - Frequently
- Ability to sit in automobile, train or airplane for extended period of time - Frequently
- Use of small electric, cordless and hand tools - Frequently
- Climbing and work on ladders up to 12 feet – Frequently
- Lifting objects up to 100 lbs - Occasionally
