About the role
- Install Point-of-Sale and other hardware in restaurant or retail environments
- Perform Wellness Visits and maintenance checks on equipment
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for POS and related systems
- Drive to and service multiple restaurant locations within the local market using a company vehicle
- Perform on-site tasks that may include cabling, network configuration, and use of hand tools
- Complete routine maintenance, documentation, and report work status to the team
Requirements
- Weekly travel within the local market using company vehicle
- Basic Windows OS and Microsoft Office knowledge
- Technical troubleshooting abilities
- Valid REAL ID-compliant Driver's License
- Ability to pass Criminal Background Checks
- Ability to pass pre-hire drug testing and on-going random drug testing
- Experience working with basic hand tools and drills
- Restaurant or related customer service field experience (bonus)
- Point of Sale System Exposure/Experience (bonus)
- CAT-5 cabling experience (bonus)
- Knowledge of configuring a network system (bonus)
- Ability to walk distances up to a half mile
- Ability to stand on concrete surfaces continuously 8-10 hours
- Ability to bend, squat, and kneel frequently
- Ability to extend arms/hands overhead frequently
- Ability to sit in automobile, train or airplane for extended periods
- Use of small electric, cordless and hand tools frequently
- Ability to climb and work on ladders up to 12 feet
- Ability to lift objects up to 100 lbs
