About the role
- Install Point-of-Sale and other hardware in restaurant and retail environments
- Perform Wellness Visits and maintenance checks
- Provide technical troubleshooting and routine maintenance for POS and related systems
- Travel within assigned local market using a company vehicle to service multiple restaurant locations
- Use hand tools, drills, small electric/cordless tools and climb ladders to complete installations
- Follow safety and company protocols, pass background and drug screenings as required
- Interact with restaurant staff to coordinate installations and service visits
Requirements
- This position requires weekly travel with company vehicle within the local market (some weeks may require daily driving)
- Basic Windows OS and Microsoft Office knowledge
- Technical troubleshooting abilities
- Valid REAL ID-compliant Driver's License
- Ability to pass Criminal Background Checks
- Ability to pass pre-hire drug testing and on-going random drug testing
- Experience working with basic hand tools and drills
- Restaurant or related customer service field experience (bonus)
- Point of Sale System exposure/experience (bonus)
- CAT-5 cabling experience (bonus)
- Knowledge of configuring a network system (bonus)
- Physical ability to walk up to a half mile, stand on concrete 8-10 hours, bend/squat/kneel frequently, extend arms overhead frequently, sit in vehicle/plane/train for extended periods, use small electric/cordless/hand tools, climb ladders up to 12 feet, lift up to 100 lbs
