About the role
- Build and maintain relationships with funeral directors, cemetery owners, and preneed managers.
- Promote offering from subsidiary and partner organizations.
- Identify and secure new funeral home accounts through networking and outreach.
- Drive consistent sales growth in new and existing accounts.
- Assist new accounts with licensing, contracting, product training, and marketing support.
- Serve as a key liaison to maintain long-term relationships and customer satisfaction.
- Track and update account data, monitor industry trends, and maintain records.
Requirements
- Bachelor level degree in business management is preferred or equivalent job experience.
- 6+ years B2B traveling sales experience.
- Funeral industry knowledge is preferred.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and changing agendas.
- Must be in the state of Michigan or Ohio.
- Must be willing, and be available, to travel extensively by car or air up to 80% of time.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must meet and maintain the appropriate state-licensing requirement to represent life insurance products in their assigned territory.
