About the role

  • Consult with customers to understand their needs, growth goals and partner with them to identify opportunities to meet/exceed customer needs and provide the right solutions to address those needs, improve operations and grow revenue
  • Attain sales and renewal targets and quotas on a monthly basis
  • Demonstrate the use of Tax & Accounting products to the customer – GST, UT, GFR, API, OneSource, Tax Research, AI and more
  • Obtain and provide territory information regarding market intelligence and penetration
  • Confer with and assist in customer-related issues as needed to maintain good customer relations
  • Complete weekly sales performance reports and completes all CRM reporting in a timely and accurate manner
  • Drives strategic initiatives supported by assigned account team consisting of Sales Development Representative, Account Development Representative and Solutions Consultants to drive growth in assigned territory
  • Leverage sales automation tools and data insights to engage prospects and expedite sales cycles (such as utilizing Flash/EMS/Salesforce)
  • Attend sales meetings and conventions as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' successful sales experience
  • At least 3 years selling Tax software
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • Proven/consistent track record of quota attainment
  • Software as a Service Sales (SAAS) experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques
  • Excellent communication skills & presentation skills to maximize phone and virtual client meetings/presentations
  • Strong prospecting and closing skills
  • Ability to sell UltraTax new, GST new, OneSource new, Automation new, Tax Research new, and cross sell/upsell to current client base
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation
  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite
  • Utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred)
