Consult with customers to understand their needs, growth goals and partner with them to identify opportunities to meet/exceed customer needs and provide the right solutions to address those needs, improve operations and grow revenue
Attain sales and renewal targets and quotas on a monthly basis
Demonstrate the use of Tax & Accounting products to the customer – GST, UT, GFR, API, OneSource, Tax Research, AI and more
Obtain and provide territory information regarding market intelligence and penetration
Confer with and assist in customer-related issues as needed to maintain good customer relations
Complete weekly sales performance reports and completes all CRM reporting in a timely and accurate manner
Drives strategic initiatives supported by assigned account team consisting of Sales Development Representative, Account Development Representative and Solutions Consultants to drive growth in assigned territory
Leverage sales automation tools and data insights to engage prospects and expedite sales cycles (such as utilizing Flash/EMS/Salesforce)
Attend sales meetings and conventions as required
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' successful sales experience
At least 3 years selling Tax software
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
Proven/consistent track record of quota attainment
Software as a Service Sales (SAAS) experience a plus
Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques
Excellent communication skills & presentation skills to maximize phone and virtual client meetings/presentations
Strong prospecting and closing skills
Ability to sell UltraTax new, GST new, OneSource new, Automation new, Tax Research new, and cross sell/upsell to current client base
Strong time management and organization skills
Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation
Highly proficient in MS Office suite
Utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred)
