About the role
- Manage renewals, retention, and expansion of a book of business for Q4
- Work closely with a CSM partner to provide best-in-class training and care
- Maintain strong customer relationships and uncover expansion opportunities
- Manage the overall economic relationship with assigned customers to ensure retention
- Proactively drive outreach to expand value and maximize bookings
- Own the renewals process including negotiations, solutioning, and contracting
- Identify and pursue highest-value expansion opportunities and demonstrate ROI to customers
- Bring actionable Voice of the Customer feedback to the organization, including competitive and product insights
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven success in sales or business development, ideally in a SaaS-based environment
- Strong listening and deduction skills
- Knowledge of how to uncover opportunities and build a sales pipeline
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and present business cases
- Demonstrated hustle, high outreach activity, and strong contact and conversion rates
- Ability to manage a busy calendar and engage with customers every quarter
- Experience using Salesforce, SalesLoft, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Proven ability to foster collaboration across departments
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Highly motivated, self-confident, and driven to achieve exceptional results
- Resourceful and creative in prospect identification and opportunity generation
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
- Self-starter with a “can-do” mentality
- Service-oriented approach for fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Located in the United States and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
