Accounting Manager

• Participate in new client meetings, demonstrating HedgeServ software, discussing complex accounting topics and outlining HedgeServ’s solution to their needs with specific focus on fund structures and products traded.
• Work as part of a team of Assistant Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents and Managing Directors, who have ongoing responsibility for developing all aspects of HedgeServ services.
• Understand and be responsible for all aspects of the NAV calculation including fee calculations, profit and loss allocations, accounting for complex financial instruments, documentation review and ad hoc client requests.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction for assigned fund accounting teams.
• Efficiently manage multiple client relationships.
• Ensure the assigned fund accounting team operates within a clearly defined, documented and tested control environment.
• Participate in the continuous development and enhancement of work flows and procedures to reflect the changing control environment.
• Resolve exceptional problems and take on special projects or tasks as assigned.
• Responsible for fund accounting employee recruitment, training and performance evaluations.
• Resolve employee complaints in conjunction with HR and the MD group.
• Responsible for the preparation and review of financial and regulatory reports.
• Develop and maintain relationships between HedgeServ and client brokers, auditors and legal counsel.
• Responsible for new client transitions to the HedgeServ platform.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Investor Services, Quality Assurance, Business Development, Operations and Compliance departments within HedgeServ.

Fund Accounting Vice President

Supervisor

• Focus on traditional collateral management responsibilities such as margin calls, dispute resolutions, and collateral settlements
• Oversee the cash management processes
• Hold conversations with senior Hedge Fund personnel

Treasury Supervisor

Manager

• Managing a team of supervisors and administrators responsible for providing the full suite of investor services to the clients assigned to that team.
• The team will be responsible for processing investor transactions in client funds, including investor due diligence to satisfy applicable AML/KYC requirements
• Preparation, review and distribution of all investor reporting, including monthly account statements, transaction confirmations and performance reports.
• Reconciling fund bank accounts on a daily basis, and processing applicable money movements from such accounts as authorised by the client.
• Managing external client relationships and internally establishing effective working relationships with other departments within the company.
• Ensuring all client communication is accurate and timely and consistent with applicable service level agreements
• Assisting with the initialization and transitioning of new clients, including document review and bank account opening.

Investor Services Manager

Application Engineer

• Incident manager during critical production events, ensuring timely communication, documentation and resolution
• Coordinate with counterparties, brokers, traders, portfolio managers, risk teams and general end-users

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across FIX sessions, order routing, trade capture, downstream processing and real-time components

• Review & prepare accurate and complete Regulatory Reporting filings and ensure all filings are filed within the prescribed deadlines
• Liaise with other operations teams within HedgeServ including Middle Office, Fund Accounting and Investor Services
• Resolve issues and take on special projects or tasks as assigned
• Support the research of new regulatory requirements and educate HedgeServ client service teams on the requirements and how they impact HedgeServ’s clients
• Assist with the firm’s implementation of its regulatory service offerings, including systems integration with a third party provider
• Be responsible for ensuring any software development is scheduled, tested and deployed as it relates to the regulatory compliance service offering
• Work with other operating and technology teams to incorporate new workflows into the firm’s overall technology strategy
• Assist in client communications alerting clients of any updates or changes to regulations or any new regulatory service offerings
• Ensure that client requests for service changes or enhancements are managed appropriately

Senior Client Regulatory Associate

• Responsible for various operational requirements surrounding hedge fund regulatory compliance reporting
