Manage and lead the Hanger LIVE one-day virtual event for over 3,000 online attendees, including coordination with company leaders, educators, and employees
Develop and adhere to the virtual event production schedule, managing deadlines for course content, graphics, and attendee communications
Assist with event logistics for the in-person Hanger LIVE from pre-planning to concept development to completion, including registration, communication, agendas, scheduling, travel/transportation, accommodations, menus, liaison with education component/vendors/exhibits, audio-visual, presentation, and event production
Assist with Hanger Clinic’s national flagship patient events, including researching and negotiating vendor/venue contracts and providing oversight of vendor/venue commitments (hotel, travel, AV, décor, furniture, entertainment, transportation and video/photo crews)
Track event metrics and generate post-event reports, analyzing data on attendance and engagement and making recommendations for future events
Partner with internal teams and external vendors to clearly communicate event execution timing and expectations
Provide on-site event leadership and serve as on-site lead to answer questions and provide solutions
Assist with coordination, planning and execution of other enterprise events and meetings requiring advanced logistics and support, including regional meetings, Board meetings, and town halls
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Management, Marketing or Public Relations, or an applicable field
7+ years of event planning, hotel convention services management, and/or conference planning experience
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures
Experience planning and executing a virtual conference using an online platform or event software (strongly preferred)
Experience with management of food and beverage services, marketing and collateral development, venue oversight, and exhibit management for in-person events
Proven project management skills and knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools
Ability to prioritize work effectively and manage multiple projects and work extended hours as required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated leadership ability and complex problem solving ability
Effective interpersonal skills with strong negotiation knowledge and ability
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
