About the role
- Provide architectural oversight and strategic guidance for all Revenue business systems projects, ensuring solutions alignment with long-term business objectives.
- Design comprehensive solutions by translating complex business needs into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and clear acceptance criteria.
- Maintain a deep understanding of technical architecture across multiple domains and coding implications to effectively guide development teams and inform design decisions.
- Hands-on develop, test and deploy end-to-end solutions on the Salesforce platform, primarily leveraging Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
- Implement and manage seamless integrations between internal business systems and external applications using REST APIs.
- Lead the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating discussions to gather, define, and refine project requirements.
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions and workshops to elicit detailed needs and propose viable, scalable solutions on the business system platforms.
- Uphold highest development standards by actively participating in peer code reviews and ensuring strict adherence to established best practices and deployment protocols.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues and performance flaws to ensure high availability and efficiency of revenue systems.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Salesforce systems architecture and design patterns.
- Deep knowledge and experience with Salesforce's suite of products across all SDLC phases.
- Good experience with 3rd party connected applications, system design and build.
- Strong proficiency with Force.com Platform skills like Apex, Flows, Lightning, UI (LWC/Visualforce), SOQL, Unit Testing etc.
- Thorough understanding of SaaS data models, design considerations and connected web services.
- Good understanding of Salesforce DX, source-driven development using Git/Github or similar version control system, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery as part of DevOps process.
- 8+ years of experience building custom solutions on Salesforce.
- 5+ years of experience integrating business applications using platforms like Mulesoft, Snaplogic, Workato etc and APIs.
- 3+ years of mentoring and training junior developers and administrators.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, and/or Salesforce Certified System Architect (or equivalent) are highly preferred.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science/Math or equivalent practical experience.
- Passionate about helping small business owners and converting pain points into solutions.
