About the role

  • Design, build, and administer Salesforce and automation platforms for Sales, Service, and Marketing teams
  • Develop, test and deploy end-to-end solutions on the CRM platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce
  • Build and maintain cross-platform applications and automations using JavaScript, DataWeave, and Python
  • Lead project delivery including custom development, integrations, data migration and user acceptance testing
  • Implement and manage integrations between internal revenue business systems and external applications using REST APIs
  • Utilize declarative tools (Flows, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, Page Layouts) to configure and enhance platform functionality
  • Drive medium-sized technically or organizationally complex projects across multiple domains
  • Collaborate with business systems analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Enforce coding standards and best practices through code reviews and structured deployment processes
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues and performance flaws to ensure high availability
  • Participate in on-call roster and respond to reliability, security, and performance incidents

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Apex, SOQL, SOSL, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Expertise in integration patterns, APIs, and middleware tools
  • Deep knowledge and experience with Salesforce's suite of products across all SDLC phases
  • Good understanding of Salesforce DX, source-driven development using Git/Github or similar version control system, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery as part of DevOps process
  • Deep expertise with CRM declarative tools and standard functionalities (Flows, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, Page Layouts)
  • Strong understanding of business systems security, permissions, and data model management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and end-user communication capabilities
  • Lead by example in building code that is secure, reliable, performant, accessible, and responsive
  • Own end-to-end execution of the projects they are leading
  • Work collaboratively with product, design, and data partners across multiple teams
  • Participate in an on-call roster and respond to reliability, security, and performance incidents
  • 6+ years of experience building custom solutions on Salesforce
  • 4+ years of experience integrating business applications using platforms like Mulesoft, Snaplogic, Workato etc and APIs
  • 2+ years of mentoring and training junior developers and administrators
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, and/or Salesforce Certified System Architect (or equivalent) are highly preferred
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science/Math or equivalent practical experience
