About the role

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Qualify leads and assess client needs to match the best entrance control solutions to their specific requirements.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of leads and opportunities in the CRM to meet sales targets.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the value and features of entrance control systems.
  • Develop customized proposals and quotations tailored to client needs and budgets.
  • Provide product and technical information to help clients understand how our solutions can solve their access control challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up on sales leads, provide ongoing support, and resolve any issues to ensure continued business growth and repeat sales.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, maintaining a professional and responsive relationship.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and conditions with clients to close deals effectively and profitably.
  • Work with internal teams (sales management, engineering, and logistics) to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive products, and market opportunities in the entrance control and security sectors.
  • Actively participate in events and exhibitions to promote our solutions.
  • Travel within Northern/Central Italy.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of successful professional experience in B2B sales, preferably in the security, access control, or technology industries.
  • Previous experience selling technical products or systems will be an advantage.
  • Ability to effectively prospect, qualify, and close sales opportunities in a competitive market.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present technical products in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Ability to establish trust and build long-term relationships with clients.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales management, marketing, and engineering.
  • Comfortable with using CRM software (e.g., Dynamics D365), MS Office, and other sales tools to track and manage sales activities.
