About the role
- Lead Ricoh’s growth in the Graphic Communications sector through strategic customer segmentation, awareness initiatives, and relationship building.
- Promote and educate clients on the benefits of new inkjet technologies.
- Consult with business owners and senior executives to demonstrate how new technologies can generate revenue and reduce operational costs.
- Develop and present compelling ROI analyses for proposed solutions.
- Drive business development efforts within the assigned territory.
- Analyze customer needs and deliver tailored solutions for both new and existing clients.
- Oversee the delivery, installation, and support of products and strategies within the territory.
- Achieve or exceed revenue and gross profit targets, including consistent page volume growth.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive briefings, proposals, and value propositions.
- Collaborate with Professional Services and Customer Service teams to resolve workflow and technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of account activity using Ricoh’s CRM and sales database.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring proper documentation for each sale.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 7–10 years of B2B sales experience, including 5+ years in advanced sales of high-volume printers (preferably continuous feed and inkjet).
- Proven success in selling within the Graphic Communications vertical.
- Experience in complex, consultative sales engagements.
- Strong business development and market expansion skills.
- Deep understanding of Graphic Communications and related technologies.
- Expertise in selling end-to-end complex solutions.
- Proficiency in sales methodologies within a matrixed environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and self-motivation abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Skilled in managing order fulfillment and implementation processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.
- Personal Vehicle (driving requirement); daily travel to customer sites.
