About the role
- Lead overall delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE Solutions including design and development of CE/CRM application components
- Manage project schedule, resources, risks and reporting
- Provide overall guidance and serve as an escalation point for the Dynamics development team members
- Support customers and end-users to define requirements based on the latest Dynamics 365 architecture
- Develop implementation plans and roadmap; set standards for future development and architecture
- Manage two or more small teams of experienced consultants including managers and experienced consultants
- Create or improve processes, standards or operational plans with long-term impact
- Lead team members to uncover and resolve highly technical issues and provide technical oversight and subject matter expertise
- Participate occasionally in negotiations with other leaders regarding operational issues
- Gather technical requirements and propose solutions based on client architectural and business needs
- Drive Dynamics CRM implementations through all project phases: discovery, definition, build, test, and deploy
- Lead data-centric discussions with clients during discovery meetings
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, system diagrams, and prototypes
- Develop integrations and customizations to Dynamics CRM and design custom code or data migration requirements
- Present tailored demonstrations of the technology solution and interact with prospective and current customers during demos/evaluations
- Work with technology and business groups to define project specifications and take full ownership of the Dynamics 365 solution
- Enhance efficiency of development, testing and release process; develop tools and frameworks for robust delivery
- Document technical risks and issues and actively work to avoid, mitigate, resolve risks and technical debt
- Relay solution design to development team and provide technical guidance during development
- Travel to multiple customer locations for demos and meetings when required
Requirements
- Minimum of SEVEN (7) years of experience implementing and managing CRM solutions at an enterprise level (Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365)
- Minimum degree: US equivalent Bachelor's Degree
- Evaluate, design, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 business solutions, often working on-site to help customers deploy their solutions
- Experience translating technical information into easy-to-understand business concepts
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal skills and can be collaborative
- Experience developing & deploying business applications using Microsoft’s Dynamics Power Platform
- Must have experience with full life-cycle implementation of Dynamics 365
- Must demonstrate knowledge and experience in ERP implementation principles, practices and methodologies
- Travel Required: Up to 25%
- (Nice to have) Experience in “Big 4” or equivalent established consulting firm and/or Microsoft Gold partner
- (Nice to have) BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering
- (Nice to have) Experience with public sector clients preferred
- (Nice to have) Experience with Agile or Hybrid-Agile methodology
