About the role

  • Lead the lifecycle management of software licenses and subscriptions through quoting, PO processing and invoice reconciliation
  • Partner with Procurement team to execute software contract negotiations (Renewals and New Acquisitions)
  • Maintain the IT budget with forecasting, actuals and charge backs for all software line items
  • Identify savings opportunities for maintenance & software licensing
  • Partner with IT Asset Manager to reflect complete lifecycle of all IT software contracts/licenses/subscriptions in the system of record
  • Lead the Software Standardization process vetting new software titles requested by employees
  • Oversee the End User request process for installing approved software packages onto company endpoint devices
  • Uphold and promote Software Asset Management policies, processes and procedures to ensure compliance and reduce risk
  • Collaborate with the IT End Point Team for deployments

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree, plus 7 years of experience OR 11 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • 7+ Years Experience with Software Asset Management
  • 4+ Years Experience with Microsoft Licensing and Portal Administration
  • 5+ years of Vendor Management experience
  • Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure in a Corporate Environment
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
  • PC proficiency to include MS Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
  • ServiceNow Incident, Contract and Asset Module experience
  • Travel Required: Up to 10%
  • Preference for candidates located within 50 miles of a Guidehouse office (preferred, not required)
