About the role
- Help solve technical questions related to Guesty’s APIs, webhooks, 3rd party integrations, and new feature complexities.
- Investigate and resolve customer requests and queries using ticketing, content and task management tools.
- Advise clients/partners on Guesty's best practices on API implementation.
- Lead personal/team projects such as designing & developing new internal tools.
- Create internal knowledge base articles to improve solve time and client satisfaction.
- Escalate and resolve issues with the Product and Engineering teams by completing bug reports.
- Provide support to users around the world as part of Guesty's global support team.
Requirements
- 3+ yrs experienced support engineers
- Experience with Postman, Chrome DevTools or any equivalent
- Experience with DB queries.
- REST API knowledge
- Experience in Javascript - a big plus
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially with complex technical problems.
- Open to work at night and in shifting schedules
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- A demonstrated track record of providing prompt and compassionate customer care, using your well-rounded technical and analytical skills.
