About the role
- Act as first point of contact for customers contacting on behalf of clients; manage inquiries and provide information
- Receive incoming calls to assist with inquiries, orders, product information, billing, account maintenance, or technical support
- Listen actively, identify root causes, and resolve problems to customer satisfaction using available resources and knowledge bases
- Build rapport and establish positive relationships by demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism
- Maintain thorough understanding of company products, services, features, pricing, and promotions and update knowledge through training
- Assist customers with placing orders, processing returns or exchanges, tracking shipments, and managing account information following procedures
- Accurately record all customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in appropriate systems and generate reports as required
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical support to escalate or address inquiries requiring specialized expertise
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and service delivery to enhance customer experience
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Remote location requires a minimum of 100-megabyte internet speed
- Basic customer service and phone handling experience
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Active listening skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and ownership of customer issues
- Familiarity with basic computer applications
- Proficiency in typing and data entry
- Adaptability to work in a demanding environment with shifting priorities
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
