About the role

  • Act as first point of contact for customers contacting on behalf of clients; manage inquiries and provide information
  • Receive incoming calls to assist with inquiries, orders, product information, billing, account maintenance, or technical support
  • Listen actively, identify root causes, and resolve problems to customer satisfaction using available resources and knowledge bases
  • Build rapport and establish positive relationships by demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism
  • Maintain thorough understanding of company products, services, features, pricing, and promotions and update knowledge through training
  • Assist customers with placing orders, processing returns or exchanges, tracking shipments, and managing account information following procedures
  • Accurately record all customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in appropriate systems and generate reports as required
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical support to escalate or address inquiries requiring specialized expertise
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and service delivery to enhance customer experience

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Remote location requires a minimum of 100-megabyte internet speed
  • Basic customer service and phone handling experience
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and ownership of customer issues
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications
  • Proficiency in typing and data entry
  • Adaptability to work in a demanding environment with shifting priorities
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
  • Ability to work a set schedule with flexibility to work extra hours or a modified work schedule to meet business needs
