Achieve volume, revenue, and margin growth targets in an assigned sales territory.
Manage business relationships and find new opportunities within existing accounts; acquire, penetrate, manage and retain customers.
Coordinate internal resources (equipment, customer service, etc.) to provide system solutions to the customer.
Develop territory and account plans; prioritize opportunities and execute sales strategies.
Forecast territory-level sales results and maintain a reliable sales pipeline.
Follow prescribed process to implement closed sales opportunities and follow up on implementation milestones.
Use CRM and other systems to manage sales process and develop reports to support customers.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science preferred.
5+ years of selling strapping and equipment to distributors with additional packaging sales experience.
Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with JDE and Salesforce.com is a plus.
Solid understanding of strapping and equipment specifications and performance in production environments.
Ability to use CRM and other systems to manage the sales process and develop territory and account plans.
