About the role

  • Manage the scheduling program within the Data Center market
  • Ensure schedules are produced, maintained, updated, and issued regularly throughout project duration
  • Closely monitor trends and alert management to possible positive or negative effects
  • Assist with project strategy during proposal development in relation to schedule
  • Develop comprehensive baseline schedules collaboratively with site teams and trade partners to meet key milestones
  • Prepare executive schedule update narratives and reports for market performance
  • Develop construction sequencing to plan efficient workflows for the project team
  • Assess project schedules to identify and mitigate scheduling conflicts
  • Cost and manpower load schedules and apply earned value management concepts
  • Lead by example and hold team members accountable to Gray's policies and procedures
  • Supervise and manage scheduling staff across multiple projects
  • Travel as required for project support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Experience in the Construction Industry
  • Experience managing scheduling staff on multiple projects
  • Comprehensive understanding of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scope of work
  • Understanding of the design process relative to the project schedule
  • Comprehensive understanding of project administration, including the submittal process, change management, and change order processes
  • Knowledge of schedule logic, predecessors, successors, and float
  • Understanding of earned value management and ability to cost and manpower load schedules
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Ability to develop comprehensive baseline schedules in collaboration with site team and trade partners
  • Ability to prepare executive schedule update narratives and reports for market performance
  • Ability to develop construction sequencing and assess/mitigate scheduling conflicts
  • Supervisory experience (managing scheduling staff)
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Position based remotely
