About the role
- Oversee Phoenix, AZ territory to build awareness of online academic programs and drive inquiry generation
- Identify and implement event/activity plans for territory
- Shape high impact partnerships and execute through informational presentations, calls and emails
- Provide counseling to prospective students, their families and partners in-person, over the phone or via email
- Support prospective students through the admissions process and guide them toward successful online learning experience
- Work independently with ambitious targets and use critical thinking to meet goals
- Travel extensively within territory and attend events (evenings/weekends as needed)
Requirements
- Must live in or near Phoenix, AZ
- New hire training will be held in-person at our Phoenix, AZ campus
- 3+ years of demonstrated success in outside business development, consultative sales or account management
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Outstanding time management skills
- Clear communication skills (in person, in writing and on the phone)
- Well developed listening skills
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed
- High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and a flexible schedule
- Ability to travel extensively in territory; some events might require evening and/or weekend availability
- Computer literacy; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
- Bonus points for relevant industry related professional experience
- Bonus points for experience working with CRM tools
