About the role
- Manage new hire documentation from offer acceptance, including global Right to Work checks, background screens, and I-9 Documentation
- Oversee global contract creation and the background check process; support contingent onboarding as needed
- Research, build, and continuously improve scalable People tools and processes; identify opportunities for efficiency and automation
- Support international entity establishments and key annual People processes such as performance, compensation, promotions, and levelling
- Act as a key point of contact for team member inquiries, providing prompt and accurate resolutions
- Manage and maintain all global People templates, including employment verifications, visa support, offer letters, and contracts; coordinate candidate visa processes
- Prepare and ensure timely submission of monthly payroll updates, partnering closely with Finance for accurate documentation
- Administer, enhance, and audit People systems (e.g., Workday, Tangelo, Freshservice) and drive data integrity across platforms
- Jointly own and drive critical processes across the employee lifecycle as part of a team of Senior People Operations Specialists
Requirements
- Progressive experience in a People Operations (HR) generalist or coordination role, preferably within a high-growth, remote environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Thrive in ambiguity with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Resourceful and able to work independently and collaboratively
- Proactive self-starter with initiative and willingness to challenge the status quo
- Outstanding cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to build trusted relationships across People, Finance, Legal, and Leadership
- Customer service mindset; highly approachable for international team members
- Adaptable to new processes, technologies, and ways of working
- Process-oriented and experienced creating structure and processes
- Experience handling and protecting sensitive and confidential information
- Experience with People systems and tools (e.g., Workday, Tangelo, Freshservice) and collaboration with payroll/finance
