About the role

  • Build, iterate, and own the AI Journey, a strategic AI-powered initiative at Gorgias
  • Act like a founder: own end-to-end product vision, execution, and cross-functional alignment
  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Success
  • Talk to customers to validate hypotheses, iterate fast, and build product–market fit
  • Scale structure in unstructured environments and create playbooks as needed
  • Ship products quickly and iterate based on feedback and signal

Requirements

  • Founder-style product builder who loves ownership, speed, and iteration
  • Strong product instincts with a sharp eye for what matters
  • Comfortable working across business and technical stakeholders
  • Naturally customer-facing; thrives in conversations with users
  • Can balance short-term speed with long-term product thinking
  • Experience working with AI like LLMs, agents, and prompt workflows
  • Experience with DTC, marketing automation, or AI-driven marketing tools
  • Hands-on involvement in early-stage product development or startups
  • Technical curiosity or depth around AI/ML, prompt engineering, or automation
  • Proven ability to ship products quickly and iterate based on signal
  • Comfortable operating without a safety net and building the playbook as you go
  • Must be based in New York or willing to relocate (application question)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the job location or indicate visa needs (application question)
  • Must commit to hybrid work in-office 2 days per week (Wednesday & Thursday)
