Guide product development through all stages of the product life cycle: identifying customer needs and developing, launching, and sustaining products
Represent Cloudflare to customers, vendors, and partners; synthesize information and communicate to internal stakeholders
Build, maintain, and develop a world class team of product managers and leaders; hire, develop, and retain extraordinary talent
Guide the development of product strategy and roadmap for a broad portfolio (Traffic Management, Data Localization, DNS, TLS Certificate Lifecycle, IP Address Management)
Lead PM efforts across teams from ideation through launch, and through ongoing maintenance and support
Implement product management processes to increase team velocity, quality, and accountability
Develop and nurture relationships with engineering leadership to ensure successful delivery of product
Partner with Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support to drive adoption and gather feedback
Build consensus and effectively influence senior-level partners
Identify new markets and opportunities for product expansion and represent the company externally as needed
Requirements
15+ years experience in product management and a proven track record of leading large successful programs that span multiple teams
Deep understanding of Enterprise Software - the products, the buyers, the opportunities and challenges specific to providing solutions to some of the largest companies in the world
Demonstrated ability to build, lead and develop a team of high-performing product managers and product leaders (direct reports)
Proven track record shipping data-driven, secure, enterprise products at scale in a highly dynamic environment
Strong technical abilities; intimately familiar with modern software development practices used to build and deploy applications
Ability to have deep technical discussions with internal and external engineering stakeholders
Tolerance for ambiguity, creativity in strategy and execution tactics
Strong customer and stakeholder empathy across marketing, finance, engineering, support and ops
Great oral communication and written documentation skills
A positive "get it done" attitude and the ability to effectively prioritize and advance a large number of projects simultaneously
Ability to validate early ideas through quantitative and qualitative methods (A/B and multivariate testing, user testing, etc.) [bonus]
Hands-on experience with managing mission critical products or services that run at internet scale [bonus]
Familiarity with Internet traffic management, the global internet and data regulatory landscape, TLS certificate lifecycles, DNS best practices and RFCs, and/or Network and IP Address Management related topics such as BGP and DHCP [bonus]
Scripting/programming experience (Python, Go, etc.) and/or experience with query languages [bonus]
May require authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export laws without sponsorship for an export license (offer may be conditioned)
