About the role
- Develop and implement a clear sales strategy for selling solar PV systems to new commercial clients across the West and Southwest
- Lead the sales process from initial contact to closing, meeting sales targets and revenue goals
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities, providing regular updates and forecasts to management
- Negotiate and secure contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements
- Qualify opportunities early by gathering in-depth information and conducting thorough analysis
- Share market insights and customer feedback with the team to enhance product offerings
- Maintain existing client relationships while identifying and converting new accounts
- Report to Mark Wilson
Requirements
- Proven sales professional with experience in the commercial solar market
- Experience in one or more of: Healthcare, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Retail, Education (highly desirable)
- Strong track record of overachievement and growing market share in a B2B sales environment
- Solid understanding of solar PV technology and ability to explain its benefits in simple terms
- Proven ability to generate own leads, drive negotiations, and close deals
- Self-starter with a hands-on approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service
- Energetic, motivated, and target-driven
- Full UK driving licence
- Based along the M4 corridor with easy access to Cardiff, Bristol, Swindon, Gloucester
