About the role

  • Help establish the social center of excellence and influence social strategy and governance for Fannie Mae
  • Develop and lead the execution of social process and governance within social platforms including intake, publishing, and moderation guidelines, security management plans, escalation and crisis management
  • Lead the development of channel strategies, social media playbook, publishing/moderation guidelines, standards for platforms
  • Maintain the enterprise content calendar for all social media content supporting enterprise and business goals
  • Represent the Social Media team across the enterprise as a social media subject matter expert and provide counsel for strategic activation while complying with regulations and mitigating risks
  • Provide expertise for developing and advancing the digital content strategy to advance organizational objectives and line of business goals
  • Develop strategies and designs to build new audiences and scale to expand reach
  • Analyze social media data to derive actionable insights, leveraging metrics and trends to inform and optimize content strategies and publishing performance
  • Identify opportunities for new strategies and tactics to test and learn
  • Liaise with legal, compliance, media relations, and risk teams to assure social governance policies and procedures are met
  • Assist in departmental budget management process

Requirements

  • 6 years related experience in B2B and/or B2C marketing including digital marketing
  • At least 3 years of social media marketing strategy experience, including publishing, monitoring, analyzing, planning, and executing social media content
  • Expertise across major social platforms including: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.
  • Proficient in utilizing social media management platforms (such as Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams (including senior stakeholders, creative teams, operations, legal, PR etc.)
  • Ability to work autonomously and navigate ambiguity
  • Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with flawless execution while adhering to tight timelines
  • Love of test and learn – using research to ground thinking and strategy
  • Self-starter who is comfortable navigating ambiguity and proactively solving problems
  • Ability to rapidly prioritize and respond to changing business needs
  • Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)
  • Prior experience managing and tracking budget allocations (desired)
