Security Engineer

• Protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, and others at assigned site.
• Inspect bags and personal belongings of individuals entering premises.
• Detect and prevent unauthorized entry of prohibited items.
• Drive corporate vehicle from Goldbelt corporate office to boat launch site.
• Monitor boat safety and get on and monitor boat safety.
• Check bags of miners and boarding personnel; conduct thorough inspections of bags, backpacks, purses, and personal belongings.
• Verify identity of individuals as necessary, following established protocols.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent entry of weapons, explosives, contraband, or restricted items.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service and assistance to visitors.
• Notify local Emergency response agency in events; maintain order and render basic first aid or CPR as needed.
• Protect interests and property of Goldbelt Security and the Client.
• Perform other incidental and related duties as assigned.

• Provide customer service by answering basic HR questions regarding policies, systems, and benefits
• Manage new hire paperwork, electronic onboarding, and compliance documentation (I-9, E-Verify)
• Assist with new hire orientation, prepare orientation materials, and distribute post-orientation surveys
• Consult with hiring managers to coordinate onboarding for seasonal staff, including timekeeping system setup and support
• Intake and appropriately escalate employee relations and discipline issues to the HR Generalist and Manager
• Maintain a reputation as a neutral, approachable HR representative for employees and managers
• Perform HRIS data entry for new hires, terminations, promotions, and other status changes
• Maintain employee records and personnel files in compliance with regulatory standards
• Prepare and submit employment verifications and unemployment insurance claims
• Prepare correspondence, scan, file, and route HR documents
• Process mail and faxes in a timely manner
• Support HR projects, audits, and special assignments

HR Coordinator

• Work as a member of the HR department in a rapidly changing, complex and fast-paced commercial environment
• Serve as consultant/partner within the Corporate Headquarters in Juneau, AK, for assigned subsidiaries and corporate entities on all Human Resources related matters
• Align best HR practices to business strategies
• Rapidly react to and resolve issues and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Foster and maintain internal relationships, coach for performance improvement, advise and negotiate in conflict situations, and assist in organizational effectiveness efforts
• Deliver full life-cycle HR solutions in key areas, such as recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and training and development
• Work collaboratively with the HR Manager and all levels of management to implement HR policies, practices and procedures as assigned
• Provide full cycle recruitment support for both seasonal and permanent positions for Alaska Operations
• Onboarding and offboarding employees including new hire and benefits paperwork and orientation
• Onboarding new managers and site leads for respective LLCs
• Assist supervisors in handling performance and discipline matters and provide information on progressive discipline, evaluation procedures, and complaint and grievance procedures
• Conduct fact-finding personnel investigations and prepare draft reports and recommendations
• Prepare and review letters of performance expectation, instruction, warning, reprimand, suspension and termination
• Facilitate dispute resolution within the assigned business area
• Interpret and apply employment laws, benefit plans, human resource related policies and procedures, and terms of collective bargaining and employment agreements
• Serve as a resource for technical HR and payroll staff by providing guidance and direction on personnel and benefit processing functions
• Ensure accuracy and conduct data entry of benefit enrollments and data entry in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information and maintain accurate employee and position information for payroll and HR records

• Assist employees with Leave Management (STD/LTD/FMLA/Military) and help monitor claims

Human Resources Generalist

Accountant

• Reconciliation of all accounts including preparation of schedules to support account balances with documentation in Blackline
• Intercompany account reconciliation for intercompany payables and receivables involving Goldbelt subsidiaries and corporate
• Set up and linking for new contract awards and modifications in Costpoint
• Monitor bank and record cash receipts accurately for subsidiaries
• Monitor Open AP to ensure timely payments for subsidiaries
• Review and approval of accounts payable for subsidiaries in AP workflow
• Billing for all intercompany costs incurred as appropriate
• Assist in compilation of monthly financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, project reports and other required reports
• Maintain electronic files to ensure proper document retention for all transactions processed
• Provide customer service support for questions and requests from other accounting team members, subsidiary staff and executive management
• Provide supporting documentation in conjunction with audits or similar activities
• Ensure data recorded in the accounting system for all transactions processed is accurate and timely
• Ensure adherence to standard deadlines and timely closing in accordance with established schedule
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
